Responsibilities

The City of Arp Code Enforcement administers the Code of Ordinances relating to environmental issues such as:

• Accumulation of trash, junk, and debris
• Illegal dumping
• High grass or weeds
• Junked vehicles
• Obstructions
• Open and dangerous buildings

Enforcement of ordinances is intended to prevent and abate environmental nuisances on private property.

Mission Statement

The Code Enforcement Division's mission is to inspect properties within the city limits to ensure compliance with ordinances regarding trash, weeds, tall grass, animals at large, limitations of animals, and junked or abandoned vehicles.
